Out Of Hours
What To Do When The Practice Is Closed
Emergencies at weekends, bank holidays and out of normal surgery hours:
If you need to contact a GP outside surgery hours (8.00am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday) you can ring the following services:
Croydoc
Please ring the out-of-hours service on 0845 603 8157 if you need a doctor. Do note all calls to Croydoc are recorded. This is a co-operative staffed by Croydon GPs to provide a night and weekend rota.
Firstly the duty doctor will advise you over the telephone of self help treatment OR you will be asked to go to Croydoc, which is based at Mayday Hospital, OR if the doctor thinks you are too ill to travel, the
duty doctor will visit you at home, OR the doctor will ask you to call an emergency ambulance.
