Telephone System - We have changed our telephone system to try and improve telephone access to the practice.  The new system has a similar set up to the old system but will now advises patients that they are in a queue and what position they are. Patients can then decide to hold on or ring back at a less busy time. Please be aware that our peak times are between 8:00am - 10:00am.  Our new numbers are:

 Please note - you will be charged 5p a minute from a BT landline and possibly more depending on your supplier. Calls from a mobile will be signicantly higher depending on your provider and  tarriff

 Open Surgery  - You can now phone the surgery on the day Monday-Friday between 8:30am - 10:00am to be given an approximate time for a slot in the open surgery. Please note this can only be done on the day and when you ring the surgery on 0844 815 1924 please select option 3 to book a slot in todays open surgery.

Travel Vaccinations - We have made some further changes and introduced a dedicated Travel Clinic which will run every Wednesday between 3:30pm and 6:30pm If you are going on holidays and require travel vaccinations you MUST book a 20 minute appointment in this clinic at  LEAST 4 - 6 WEEKS PRIOR TO TRAVEL:  PLEASE NOTE These appointments are allocated on first come first serve basis and once the clinic is full no further appointments will be available that week for travel vaccinations. If we are unable to see you in the travel clinic you will be referred onto a private clinic.  It is recommended that you make an appointment as early as possible as the clinics get booked up well in advance.

Minor Illness Clinic - This is a nurse led clinic which operated every morning and will deal with minor illness such as coughs colds sore throats earache etc. Please refer to notices in the waiting room for further information. If you feel that you have a minor ailment which could be dealt with by the nurse who is able to prescibe a limited numner of medications if required please ask to be seen in the minor illness clinic. Please note these are not appointments they are for patients that feel they need to be seen on the day.

Appointments   - Please be advised tha all morning appointments can only be booked a week in advance. All afternoon and eveneing appointments can be booked up to 8 weeks in advance.  A limited number of monring appointments are released on the day but if you cant see  your doctor you can see another doctor in the open surgery.

Extended Hours

We now offer a number of appointments between the hours of 7:00am -7:50am for patients that are not able to attend the practice during work hours. These can be booked in one week in advance.  We also offer appointments to 7:30pm one night per week which again can be booked one week in advance.  If you have booked one of these appointments and the main door is looked please press the buzzer next to the main door to gain entery.
